Our desire is to create engaging environments where people can truly feel as if they BELONG in community. As people are connected to one another, we believe this will enable them to BECOME more devoted followers of Christ.
Our goal is simple: CONNECTING THE UNCONNECTED SO EVERYONE CAN BELONG. We desire to be an inviting place where people in our community can experience life-transformation through the saving power of Jesus Christ. Simply put, we want to “BE the Church!”
In the early days of the New Testament Church, small groups of believers gathered together for prayer, fellowship, and the teaching of the Word. That Biblical model for growth and community continues to this day. It has taken many forms across the centuries from in-home small groups to the more traditional form today known as Sunday School. FBK uses both of these community environments to keep you connected to the church.
Sunday School has been (and always will be) a long-standing tool FBK uses to help people grow in their faith. Click here to see the variety of Sunday School classes that meet on campus during the weekends.
In-Home Community Groups
The purpose for our In-Home Community Groups is to give people an opportunity to allow further opportunities to make meaningful connections and grow. Meeting in a Community Group throughout the week can be a very convenient way to stay connected, but it also frees people up to serve on Sunday mornings. The Women’s Ministry of First Baptist Chrch of Kettering loves to study the Bible together. We recognize the power of God’s Word and the joy of studying it within community. We invite you to join in one of these classes starting this fall!
